== Eligibility and Qualifications ==
To be eligible for a nomination for Top Plays (Album), the following criteria must be met:

* The album must have been released and actively charted during the year.
* A maximum of five albums are nominated, based on the highest total plays reported by Stats.fm.

The award follows a strictly statistical process:

* The five albums with the highest total plays on Stats.fm are automatically nominated.
* The album ranked #1 on Stats.fm at the tally date wins the award and receives all 100 votes.
