The Best Selling Album award is an annual honor presented at the Warz Music Awards to the album that has sold the most units on the charts for the entire year. The award is based strictly on sales figures and is determined purely by statistics.
Eligibility and Qualifications
To be eligible for a nomination for Best Selling Album, the following criteria must be met:
- The album must have been released and actively charted during the award year.
- A maximum of five albums are nominated based on the highest total units sold by the tally date.
Selection Process
The award follows a strictly statistical process:
- The five albums with the highest total units sold during the year are automatically nominated.
- The album with the most units sold on the tally date wins the award and receives all 100 votes.
- In the event of a tie in total units sold:
- The album with the highest chart position wins.
- If the tie remains, the album with the highest total streams is declared the winner.
